Wrestling Society X star and Ring of Honor regular Matt Sydal had a WWE tryout last week in Texas. TNA has expressed interest in Sydal of late as well. Sydal will appear on the first two ROH PPV events, but is not signed to a deal with the promotion. He's expected to tour Japan this summer for Dragon Gate.
The tentative trial date for World Wrestling Entertainment's trademark infringement lawsuit against Dale Gagner's AWA Superstars will be 10/1/08.
The 7/11 edition of WWE Classics on the MSG Network will be 8/21/85 Greg Valentine vs. Tito Santana (IC title match) and 4/22/89 (Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage Wrestlemania V rematch).
