Westside Xtreme wrestling "True Colors 2007 – CIMANIA"
July 7, 2007
Musikpalette in Essen, Germany
Attendence: 179

Pre Show: Wesley Croton beat Martijin Boz with the Croton Crab. Match didn’t last long and wasn’t good. Mentioned that it happened and that’s it.

El Generico beat Tommy End with the Turnbuckle Brainbuster – and what a Brainbuster. This opener was better than every match from last month’s show and that includes Douglas/Marufuji! Tommy End is on the run and gets better and better every month. Last year most fans thought, he was an undeserving Lightweight Champion, but at the moment he is one of the hottest guys in the roster and more over than ever. And El Generico is always great when he’s over here and I love his anime-style Shirt. This match featured a perfect mix of technical wrestling, highflying and stiff action. This match should have a rematch in some months. ***3/4

Before the next match wXw Tag Team Champion Steve Douglas and his Manager Don Jakobi held another great promo and even invited a fan in the ring to explain AbLas in German, English and French. In short words: AbLas is the name of the wXw Tag Team Champions ABsolute Andy and Steve DougLAS – and it definitely does not mean abless ;) After that it was announced that Tengkwa was injured and couldn’t compete, so Steve challenged any other Wrestler from the Netherlands, because it’s so easy to beat these guys.

Steve Douglas beat Wesley Croton with The New Superstar Version of the Psycho Driver. Most of the fans don’t like this match up in the beginning. Steve is heel, but against Wesley the fans turned him face, what should not have happened. The match was okay and Wesley with some new moves and finally some interaction with the fans. Perhaps the start for better times for Wesley and the wXw fans. **

Adam Polak and Lazio Feé debuted a new team. Feé insulted the fans and claimed all the fans are racists because the booh the great athletes from Poland (Polak) and Turkey (Feé), who want to compete in Germany.

Adam Polak & Lazio Feé beat Marc Slater & Baca Loco with a Double Team Facebuster. Definitely a letdown, compared to the rest. Baca Loco und Marc Slater got their first wXw main show match after they get chopped to hell last month in the Battle Royal. Slater is over with the fans because he stand in attendance in the past, but he need to learn more in the Westside Dojo. Baca Loco had a bad day and Polak and Feé had better days in the past too, but I think as a team they could have a good future. DUD

Emil Sitoci beat CIMA with the Snapmare Driver. This match saw a dominating CIMA, but in the end Sitoci got the surprising victory he needed after some months of stagnation. The match started out a bit slow, but after that it was a fast paced, great technical match. CIMA has a ton of charisma and is just great. Of course he had better matches, but this one was good too. His effort was good. A bit disappointing that CIMA lost at the show, which has his name in it, but Sitoci needed the victory. Perhaps there is a future title match for Sitoci on the line. CIMA will get his shot at the wXw World Lightweight Title today in French against (you’ll find out later). *** 1/2

Takeshi Rikio beat Big Van Walter with Muso. What a clash of power! How to describe this match? A typical NOAH Midcard match. Hard Hitting Action all the time with the typical Shoulderblock and Clotheslines duels. This match was nothing special but damn impressive to see two big men like these two collide in the ring, ring in front of you. ***

wXw World Lightweight Title: Dragon Kid beat Pac (c) with the Bible. Yeah, he did it. Perhaps CIMA is the bigger name, but damn I wanted to see this match the most, because I’m an absolute Dragon Kid mark and a match against Pac has to be great. I expected a total spotfest from these two (I would say two of the five best high flyers in the world today), but it wasn’t. Of course there were many spectacular spots, but these two proved that they are so much better than these spotmonkeys like Teddy Hart. This match could have go on for a few more minutes, but in its short time it was good, no question. ***1/2

wXw World Heavyweight Title: Ares (c) beat Bad Bones with a Top Rope Toblerone Driver. After his tour through South Africa and his surprising appearance for FIP last weekend, the Champion was back in Essen and that’s where he should be ;) The fans were split into two groups and the dueling chants were one more time fun as hell. Bad Bones proved in this match that he deserves to be in the main event and together both man put on one of the best wXw matches in 2007. Ares is still the champion and that’s for nearly 1 ½ year now. We’ll see who his next challenger will be. Murat Bosporus, Emil Sitoci and Chris Hero all pinted out, that they want a show at the title. ****

No new announcements for the next shows, but next shows are:

- wXw Broken Rulz VII (August 18th)
- wXw Where The Power Lies (September 15th) with Samoa Joe
