ROH's sister promotion SHIMMER will be sending two matches to Death Before Dishonor weekend. On 8/10 in Boston, Lacey vs. Daizee Haze will take place. The winner will challenge SHIMMER champion Sara Del Ray on 8/11 in Philadelphia, which will also be the first time the SHIMMER belt will be defended in ROH. Del Ray recently relocated to the Philadelphia area, so expect her on all of the ROH Northeastern events.
First round matches for the ROH "Race to the Top" tournament set for 7/27 in Deer Park, Long Island are Erick Stevens vs. Chris Hero and Delirious vs. El Generico.
Congratulations go out to longtime ROH personality Allison Danger on her recent engagement.
El Generico worked over the weekend for Westside Xtreme Wrestling in Essen, Germany.
Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Bryan Danielson and Irish Airborn will appear on 8/4 for IPW in Indianapolis.
Former ROH commentator Mister Saint Laurent, who frequently tags with Larry Zbyszko on the independent circuit, will be releasing his latest CD "The Meaning Of Words" on July 31. Like his past releases, the CD will be for sale at all independent events MSL appears on. Also, www.TheMeaningOfWords.net has been set up so fans can order the CD online. Those who pre-order online will receive a limited edition version of the CD with an exclusive bonus track. MSL and Zbyszko will both be appearing this weekend at the annual Jeff Peterson Cup charity event.
