The Sopranos ended its run in the US this year
The final series of hit mob drama The Sopranos has received 15 nominations at America's prestigious Emmy TV Awards.
Its stars James Gandolfini and Edie Falco are up for best actor and actress respectively, while the long-running show is also up for best drama series.
Other contenders for the drama award include Heroes and Grey's Anatomy.
UK actors feature strongly, including Ricky Gervais for Extras, Hugh Laurie for House, Dame Helen Mirren for Prime Suspect and Jim Broadbent for Longford.
Dame Helen won an acting prize at last year's awards for her role in Channel 4 mini-series Elizabeth I.

But 24, the sixth series of which was poorly received by US critics, failed to make the best drama shortlist ahead of Boston Legal and House.
Falco faces stiff competition for the lead actress in a drama prize from Brothers and Sisters star Sally Field, Medium's Patricia Arquette and British star Minnie Driver, nominated for The Riches.
Last year's winner, Mariska Hargitay from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, has again been shortlisted.

America Ferrara, who plays fashion-challenged personal assistant Betty Suarez, is nominated for best comedy actress award alongside Felicity Huffman from Desperate Housewives and Julia-Louis Dreyfus for The New Adventures of Old Christine.
Ugly Betty is up for 11 awards in total - one more than Grey's Anatomy and Alec Baldwin sitcom 30 Rock.
Besides Ricky Gervais, Baldwin's rivals for the best comedy actor prize include Steve Carell from The Office, Charlie Sheen from Two And A Half Men and Monk star Tony Shalhoub.

But that has not stopped cast members Michael Imperioli, Aida Turturro and Lorraine Bracco being shortlisted for their final contributions to the series.
The nominations were announced by US actors Jon Cryer and Kyra Sedgwick, both of whom received acting considerations.
The Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will be broadcast on 16 September at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
The awards will be preceded on 8 September by a separate ceremony where guest actors and technical achievement will be recognised.
