ROH Takeshi Morishima, Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness will be featured on the poster for the ROH Drive PPV, which starts to debut on PPV on 9/1.

Jimmy Rave suffered a ruptured eardrum at the Ring of Honor event on Friday in Deer Park, Long Island.

The Deer Park event was a one shot deal as the company needed to run after their Lake Grove, Long Island venue Sportplus shut down. ROH would love to run the Long Island market in the future, but it's a matter of finding a good venue. A number of places that traditionally held wrestling events in the past in the market were burned by damage to the building by the original ECW or by shady independent promoters who skipped out without paying rent, so there's a lot of scorched earth in that area as it pertains to pro wrestling.

The $10,000 Tag Team Challenge will become an annual event for Ring of Honor. The Race to the Top tournament, which was won by Claudio Castagnoli, was considered a success by ROH. The company may look into doing future weekend long tournament style events in the future but not immediately.

Atlas Security' Ronnie Lang was in attendance at the Deer Park event and handled security for the company. There had been some perceived problems between ROH and Lang (who is one of the truly good guys around the business) during his time promoting Pro Wrestling Xplosion, but the two sides had a good talk and there are no problems. I wouldn't be shocked to see Lang's firm used for security in the future.

ROH's next big weekend will be their annual "Death Before Dishonor" weekend in Boston, MA and Philadelphia, PA on 8/10 and 8/11, respectively.
