Following the recent release of The Sims Bowling for iPod, EA has followed up with The Sims Pool, a new $4.99 premium game available for purchase and download from the iTunes Store.
The game makes use of EA’s popular The Sims game franchise; you can customize your player, then select a game mode such as 9-ball or 8-ball, or trick shot mode. The iPod’s Click Wheel lets you set cue ball position, angle and spin, adjust power and shoot. The game sports accurate pool physics and sound effects, too.
The Sims Pool is compatible specifically with fifth-generation (video-capable) iPods running iPod Software 1.2 or later.
The Sims Bowling and The Sims Pool are two of four new iPod games that EA revealed plans for in May, during a conference call with financial analysts. The identity of the other two games remains unknown.
