Integrated Color Corp. on Friday announced that its ColorEyes Display Pro monitor profiling software now supports Apple displays, including Cinema Displays and the built-in monitors of iMacs, MacBooks and MacBook Pros. ColorEyes Display Pro starts at $175.

ColorEyes Display Pro works in conjunction with colorimeters and spectrophotometers to help you build a balanced color workflow to make sure that what you’re seeing on the screen is as accurate as what comes out of your camera or scanner and what comes out of your printer.

The software features an interface aimed at amateurs and another interface designed for advanced users. It incorporates “Wizards” to help new color management users understand how to set parameters and select features.

Users can create a settings file that administrators can then load, save and lock to other computers; evaluate calibration, measuring a color list and profile to see if a particular display can show critical colors; and add additional calibration settings, such as setting the display’s native white point and making adjustments to its black point.

ColorEyes Display Pro also features Direct Digital Control (DDC), which provides full control of monitor hardware through the software — white point, black point and color balance can be managed through software rather than through on-screen controls.
