Singer Amy Winehouse has missed a festival set in Norway after being admitted to a London hospital suffering from "severe exhaustion".
Winehouse, whose hits include Rehab, was taken to University College London Hospital on Wednesday morning and discharged hours later.
She had been due to appear at the Oya music festival in Oslo, Norway, on Wednesday night.
Festival organisers had said Winehouse had cancelled without any explanation.
'Performances cancelled'
A spokesman for Winehouse's label Island Records said: "Amy Winehouse was admitted to UCLH this morning suffering from severe exhaustion.
"Amy was discharged from the hospital this afternoon and has been advised to take complete rest. Scheduled performances in Norway and Denmark this week have been cancelled."
A message on the Oya festival website said: "The news of the cancellation came abruptly and surprisingly upon us a little before one o'clock this afternoon.
"Winehouse's large crew arrived yesterday, and her backing band had just finished their sound check when we were notified.
"So far no reason has been stated. We will be back with more news as soon as we have been informed."
The set is a latest in a string of several gigs the singer has recently cancelled, citing exhaustion or ill health.
