FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. -- A Gulf Breeze man claims he exposed himself at a Fort Walton Beach park because he thought it was a nude beach.
Authorities said another visitor at the park reported the man after he and his 12-year-old son saw him as they walked along the beach Tuesday afternoon.
According to the report, the father and son said the man didn't attempt to hide or cover himself from their view. But when a deputy approached the naked man, he covered himself with a towel.
The man told the deputy he thought the park was a nude beach.
A warrant for indecent exposure is pending.
