Kurt Angle and Karen Angle have taken over TNA, and it could be the best thing to happen to the company since its birth five years ago.

Karen Angle

Wrestling fans already know that Kurt Angle is one of the best mic workers in the business. He's just a natural at it.

While Kurt Angle is pretty solid as a serious heel, his shining moments come when he's doing the comedic heel routine that he's currently doing right now in TNA.

Not much was known about Karen Angle when she first hit the scene on TNA Impact. Not much was known about her after her first appearance as a neglected wife.

It wasn't until her heel turn did we see that Karen Angle is also a natural on the mic. She's just so comfortable playing a heel character.

While her heel turn on Samoa Joe at Hard Justice was rather predictable, her mic work on the Impact episode after the pay per view made up for it.

For her impressive work, TNA rewarded Karen Angle with a Knockouts contract, which means that we will be seeing more of her on TNA Impact.

At first, that wouldn't have sounded like a good thing, but now, it's actually good news.

Champion of Champions

There's still a handful of people who criticize the fact that Kurt Angle has all of the championship belts right now. Those people fail to realize that this is a gimmick; a pretty good gimmick.

Plus, Kurt Angle is going to be holding all of those championships forever. He's defending three of the titles at the No Surrender pay per view, and the chances of him losing one or two of those belts are pretty high.

At the No Surrender pay per view, Kurt Angle will defend the TNA X Division Championship against "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal. He'll also defend the TNA World Tag Team Championship against Team Pacman, which consists of troubled NFL star Adam "Pacman" Jones and Ron "The Truth" Killings. At the end of the night, he'll defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Abyss.

There's speculations that Kurt Angle cannot defend the IWGP 3rd Generation Championship unless he has approval from Antonio Inoki. That title will probably be defended in Japan soon.

The only title that Kurt Angle is expected to hold long term is going to be the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He's more than likely going to be holding the title whenever TNA finally makes the switch to a 2 hour show.

When TNA gets the additional hour, they're going to need someone who the casual wrestling fans will recognize. As respected as Samoa Joe is in the entire wrestling industry, he does not have the big name appeal that Kurt Angle does.

That would explain why TNA is holding off on putting the TNA World Heavyweight Championship on Samoa Joe.

Closing Thoughts

Kurt Angle has been on a roll since switching over to being a full time heel. The addition of Karen Angle is going to add another dimension to him that we've never seen before.

Right now he is at his best doing his comedic heel role, I think he might lose one title each Pay Per View and slowly his empire will crumble lol
