TOO LOUD: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are sleeping in separate bedrooms because of Tom's snoring, according to reports
It's a problem that afflicts millions of couples around the world, including Hollywood superstars Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise.
Cruise and wife Holmes are reported to sleep in separate bedrooms - so she doesn't have to suffer his snoring.
"It's a situation that works for both of them," a source told US magazine Star.
"In fact, they even joke to their friends about having separate bedrooms. Katie says Tom snores, and this way she can get her beauty sleep."
The couple have had the same set-up since the very beginning of their relationship, when Holmes moved into Cruise's Beverly Hills estate in 2005.
The source added: "Tom has his master bedroom, and Katie has hers."
Cruise bought their new home, a $US35million Beverly Hills mansion in May.
Sources say it is being remodelled - and the sleeping arrangements are most likely to stay as they are.
