A story linked to a Pro Wrestling Insider report had former WCW/WWE Johnny Stamboli re-signing with WWE. When contacted for comment by GERWECK.NET, Stamboli stated, "I didn't sign back yet. Some mark twisted my words around at the IZW show from last Tuesday. I said that I'm going on the road with them in mid September for 2 weeks and that is a start. I have yet to negotiate a contract."
