Former Psi-Com, Jane's Addiction and Porno for Pyros frontman Perry Farrell is set to release the debut record for his latest band, Satellite Party. Old buddy Flea (who played a number of gigs with Jane's Addiction) will guest on the disc along with fellow Chili Pepper John Frusciante.
In addition to the Peppers, Billboard reports that the Black Eyed Peas' Fergie, New Order's Peter Hook and Farrell's wife, Etty will also make guest appearances.
Satellite Party played live at last year's Lollapalooza with former Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, bassist Tony Kanal of No Doubt fame and percussionist Gabriele Corcos rounding out the lineup. Nuno is still in the band, but Kanal is busy with the next No Doubt record and is not slated to appear on the Satellite Party recordings.
