Debian Lenny, the next release of Debian, will include a new installer that makes it easier for Windows users to run the distro. win32-loader. (http://goodbye-microsoft.com/more.html) runs within Microsoft Windows and updates the boot loader so that you can restart into the Debian installer. This gets round the potentially confusing task of changing the boot order in the BIOS. Screenshots here.
