A man reaching for his cell phone lost control of vehicle and crashed into an Orange County deputy.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- An SUV hit an Orange County deputy's patrol vehicle then flipped over.
Orlando police said the driver was reaching for a fallen cell phone when he noticed traffic had stopped along Bumby Avenue. He tried to swerve to avoid rear-ending the deputy, but his SUV still clipped the Ford Explorer, rolled over and landed on its wheels.
No one was badly injured. Investigators said the driver would probably be charged with careless driving.
