CLEVELAND (AP) -- Police have questioned Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najeh Davenport about his involvement in a domestic dispute involving the mother of his 5-year-old child.

Three 911 calls, including one from Davenport, alerted police to the dispute Thursday night in the city's east side.

Police spoke with Davenport, 29, and Anita Person, 27, of Cleveland, and other witnesses about the agrument, which concerned the custody of the pair's son.

In the calls, allegations of domestic violence were made involving Davenport, police Lt. Thomas Stacho said. The officers could not determine a primary physical aggressor in the dispute, so no arrests were made, he said.

The matter was referred to the Cleveland police domestic violence unit, and detectives planned to interview those involved. City prosecutors will review the detectives' findings to determine if charges will be filed.
