Welcome to the Official UOWForums Casino Thread

We have added a UOWForums Casino with many slot games, blackjack, let em ride, sports betting pool, viseo poker and a texas hold em game. I will be adding info as we go. Keep an eye out for future updates and more games in the future.

You can find the official UOWForums casino forum here (http://www.uowforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=64). You will find info, how to's, peoples records and more in there as time goes on. Want to talk about poker from around the world etc, that will be your place. Ask questions, give opinions or thoughts in there or here if you like.



- What you need to play:

You will need Java installed and running to play these games properly. If you do not have Java, it is time to welcome in the 21st century to your computer and download them at one of these places:

That is it, once you have that installed, get into the casino and win some cash. :) We advise not opening UOWForums in a new browser while you play in the casino as it may disrupt the game. This is why we have put the shoutbox everywhere possible.



- You can get more cash by:

1. Paying a small amount to UOWForums Paypal which is then used to help the forum. :) PM (http://www.uowforums.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=1) me if anyone is interested.

2. Winning cash at the casino games.

3. Earning cash through the forum:

$2 - Each post you make.
$2 - Cash Bonus for voting on a poll.
$2 - Cash Bonus for giving reputation. (positive or negative)
$2 - Cash Bonus for Rating a thread.
$5 - For each thread you make.
$25 - Cash Bonus awarded daily for all who logged in that day.

- Texas Hold Em'

This is a 2 - 10 player game.

How Texas Hold Em' is played:

1. Post Small and Big Blinds
2. Deal two hole cards face down.
3. Begin betting.
4. Deal three cards on the flop.
5. Begin betting.
6. Deal one card on the turn
7. Begin betting.
8. Deal one card on the river
9. Begin betting.


If you are on the forum, you will see at the bottom of this image (which is below the navbar on all forum pages):

As you can see if 1 - 10 people are in there waiting or playing, it will come up here. Saves time going to go check every time you want to play.



- Video Poker

How to play and what is Video Poker:

Video Poker is the type of poker that everybody and their mama knows how to play. Winning hands are still the same order but the way you play is by drawing five cards and toss back the ones you don't want to keep. Then replace them. You win money if your hand has a pair of Jacks or Better. The payouts are multiplied by how big the hand is. Tune in next time for what the payouts are.

lol thankyou all. I myself am loving the casino and I can not wait for future add ons to it. I have made an official Casino forum found in Interactive forum as a sub. Also, the Richest Players link has been fixed.

Keep an eye on the first post for updates, especially the History part as that is where major changes will be announced.
