Herm Edwards announced Monday that Brodie Croyle a 2nd year player from Alabama will replace Damon Huard as the starter Sunday vs. Indianapolis

Croyle came in for a shaken-up Huard on Sunday at Denver. The move is supposed to ignite the Chiefs, who even at 4-5 is in the thick of the playoff race. Croyle will be the first quarterback drafted by Kansas City to start a game for the Chiefs since Todd Blackledge, who was drafted in 1983.

Adrian Peterson tore a lateral interior ligament and will be out indefinitely, He could return this year if he becomes healthy.

Interesting start in Croyle, and Peterson should take his time healing, I doubt the Vikes will rush him back this year.

Croyle probably will not fare better then Huard but it's better for Croyle to play so he can get a start for next year.

Peterson was going to get hurt sooner or later the way the Vikings were using him. It's to bad he was doing pretty good had a chance to break some records but that wont be happening now.
