NO MEAT: Heather Mills launches Viva's new ad campaign in London's Hyde Park
Heather Mills, the estranged wife of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, jokes about her missing leg in a new billboard campaign advocating vegetarianism.

The campaign is for vegetarian charity Viva!, a group that claims meat is one of the key causes of global warming.

In one billboard, Mills says: "You haven’t got a leg to stand on", a reference to her leg that was amputated after a car accident in 1993.

Another depicts a sweaty Mills saying "Hey Meaty, you’re making me so hot."

"There are fields and fields of grain just miles from starving children in Africa, being shipped to Europe to feed our livestock," Mills said as she unveiled the billboards at Hyde Park in London.

"There are 25 alternative milks available in health shops and supermarkets. Why do we not drink rats' milk, cats' milk or dogs' milk?"

In a statement, Mills said: “The startling truth is that animals farmed for meat and dairy are now one of the greatest threats to the planet. They are at the heart of almost all the world’s environmental catastrophes."

Mills' divorce battle with McCartney is still before the court
