Scottish actor EWAN McGREGOR is preparing to film a third installment in his LONG WAY documentary TV series.
The Trainspotting star will reunite with actor pal Charley Boorman for a motorcycle journey from Cape Horn through South and Central America to California.
The programme follows 2004's Long Way Round, which filmed their adventures as the pair rode 19,000 miles (30,577 kilometres) around the world, and 2007's Long Way Down, in which the pair rode from Scotland to Cape Horn.
The series is due to air in 2009.
