CAUSE UNKNOWN: Underground rapper Pimp C has been found dead, according to reports.
Underground rapper Pimp C, a member of Houston rap group UGK, has been found dead in a Los Angeles hotel.
Pimp C - whose real name was Chad Butler - was found dead in the up market Mondrian Hotel, a favourite haunt among those in the music industry. He was 33.
Butler's publicist, Nancy Byron, confirmed his death.
Officials stated the cause of death was unknown, Reuters reported.
