Former 'X Factor' presenter Kate Thornton is four months pregnant with her first child.
Her agent today confirmed a report in The Sun that the 34-year-old and her fiancée, DJ and record producer Darren Emerson, are expecting their new arrival in May.
Last week Thornton was seen having a scan at a hospital in South London. An onlooker told The Sun: "Kate was beaming from ear to ear. But funnily enough, when an 'X Factor' trailer came on the TV in the hospital waiting room, she turned her head away."A source said: "Kate and Darren are deliriously happy. Kate is due in early summer, so she can fit in a lot of work before then."
The presenter, who was axed from 'The X Factor' in March, is to front ITV's 'Britain Sings Christmas' later this month. The show will feature a choir of celebrities performing seasonal classics.
Thornton will also host Sky's coverage of the Oscars in
