Singer JOSS STONE has left another band "devastated" after pulling out of a scheduled joint gig, claiming she'd been "compromised" by the event.

The 20-year-old star was due to perform in a pub in her native Devon on Friday (21Dec07) night with reggae band Yes Sir Boss.

But, after finding out tickets were being sold off the back of her appearance, she pulled out of the booking.

A spokesman for Stone said she was unhappy that big money was changing hands for the event at the 150-capacity Drakes pub in Topsham, near Plymouth.

He explained, "Joss feels completely compromised and never agreed to that approach."

Meanwhile, Yes Sir Boss have vowed to go ahead with the show, but admitted they are shocked at the news.

Manager Elwynne Green says: "It has cost us a lot of money and would have been a major show for the band.

"We are absolutely devastated that Joss isn't appearing, but we are still going to put on an amazing show for our fans."
