NWS First 2008 Weekend Of Action January 18th-19th With Eugene, Tito Santana, The Blue Meanie, Julio Dinero & More
National Wrestling Superstars' will kickoff its 2008 schedule with a two-show weekend Friday & Saturday January 18th-19th in two of their favorite central NJ locations.

Friday night January 18th, NWS returns to the perennial popular Manville, NJ VFW Hall, 600 Washington Avenue (right off South Main Street & minutes from I-287), with the action beginning at 7:45pm.

The VFW Hall in Manville, NJ has become one of NWS' favorite central Jersey venues, having hosted some of the most exciting and memorable events over the past few years. Continuing the tradition of great Manville shows, no less than five former WWE and ECW TV stars will headline this mega event, the icing on the cake being the NWS debut appearance of Nick Dinsmore (better known to WWE RAW fans as the happy-go-lucky Eugene). Joining him in the spotlight will be another former WWE star in "America's Hero" The Patriot, and three former members of the ECW fraternity in The Blue Meanie, Julio Dinero, and The Zombie. In addition to the headliners, the fans will be treated to a host of local mat standouts such as Nate Mustang, Roman, Indian Brave Draven, Rich "Ice Pick" Lowinski, and Myke "G.Q." Quest.

Saturday night January 19th, NWS hops over to North Plainfield, NJ, for an encore appearance at the Italian-American Social Club's Crystal Room, 403 Somerset Street in North Plainfield, NJ (just off Route 22 and minutes from I-78), beginning at 7:35pm.

When NWS debut'ed in North Plainfield last year, in addition to the cheers for the good guys and the boos for the bad guys, the words most often heard from the fans were, "How soon are you coming back?" Those fans, and all the fans in the North Plainfield area, will get their wish that night. Headlining NWS' encore appearance will be a true WWE hall-of-famer, loved by wrestling fans for decades, former Intercontinental and Tag-Team champion "El Matador" Tito Santana. Sharing the spotlight (and no doubt looking to hog it as much as possible) will be another former WWE TV star, the arrogant Salvatore Sincere, who will need to look good under the lights as he will be challenged to a "Body Beautiful Posedown" match by popular north Jersey wrestling standout Fred "Bonecrusher" Sampson. In addition to the headliners, the fans will be treated to a host of local pro wrestling favorites including Luchador Antonio Malave, Blade Michaels, The Jersey Cowboy, Damian Creed, Riot, and even a Famous Wrestling Clown is rumored to be on his way to North Plainfield.

Tickets for these not-to-be-missed events are only $18 for adults and $16 for kids & senior, and can be ordered by phone by calling NWS at 1-732-888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.

Keep reading this publication, as more superstars and matches will be announced in the coming weeks.

Follow NWS on the Web at www.nwswrestling.com.

IZW & RPW Titles Unified on January 5
Greg DeMarco (The host of IZW Impulse)

A capacity crowd witnessed a history making even on January 5, 2008 at the Broadway Recreation Center in Mesa, Arizona as the NWA-Arizona championships were unified with the IZW championships in front o fa standing room only crowd. It couldn't have been more fitting that the most important matches in Arizona wrestling history were contested in front of the most vocal crowd IZW or RPW ever witnessed.

The first unification match of the evening saw Arizona veterans Native Blood (Navajo Warrior & Ghostwalker) overcome the antics of the 602 Wrecking Crew (Jacob "The Riot" Herzberg & "The Irish Hand Grenade" Marty Murphy) to regain the IZW Tag Team championships and capture the vacant NWA-Arizona Tag Team titles. The rookies were impressive once again in the biggest match of either of their careers, but the veterans were too much for them to handle as Native Blood finished the evening with both tag team championships. Seeing Native Blood backstage, it was obvious they had been through a fight, and that this isn't the last time they'll have to deal with the 602 Wrecking Crew.

In the show's main event, "XXX" Lawrence Tyler successfully defended the NWA-Arizona Heavyweight championship (a title that he has never lost since August 12, 2006 when he became the first ever NWA-Arizona champion), and regained the IZW World Heavyweight championship for a record 4th time when he pinned "The Hawaiian Lion" John Williams. Both men pulled out all the stops in this outrageous battle, as Lion took the action into the stands, hitting "XXX" with several Lion Chops amongst the crowd in the bleachers. LT didn't hold back either, using brass knuckles to finish the IZW champion off and capture the two biggest titles in all of Arizona. If you thought Lawrence Tyler was difficult to deal with, his interview after the match proved that this is just the beginning for the Arizona's unified heavyweight champion, who promises to be bigger, badder, and more in your face in 2008.

In other news, "The New York Giant" AJ Summers pinned "The Feature Presentation" Jay Garland by flying 15 feet across the ring with a frog splash to win the IZW Invitational Tournament final that also included "Everybody's Favorite Brazilian" Antonio Mestre. For AJ, with just one year of active competition, this is a huge breakout win that will only propel him upward in his career in IZW. Lucha Reigns pinned Mucha Reigns following a Springboard Shirinui, forcing his former partner to unmask in front of all of the IZW faithful that once rooted for the young team as IZW Tag Team champions. Also, Lehi David Smith's rant in the middle of the ring was interrupted by Redrum (TNA's Rellik), who proceeded to destroy LDS, much to the delight of the sold-out Broadway Recreation Center.

Full results:
1. Johnny Dynamite defeated Country Bear
2. Skull & Bones ("Miracle" Mike James & Dread Pirate Bernie) beat Ryan Lynch & James Freeman
3. Erica D'Erico pinned Violet Flame
4. Redrum (TNA's Rellik) demolished Lehi Davd Smith
5. Fearless Jack Bull's promised stunt was interrupted by IZW Board of Director's representative Strangler Steve King and and attack by "The Limited Edition" Tommy Drake
6. Lucha Reigns pinned Mucha Reigns in a Mask vs. Mask match, forcing Mucha to unmask
7. "The New York Giant" AJ Summers defeated "The Feature Presentation" Jay Garland and "Everybody's Favorite Brazilian" Antonio Mestre in a 3-Way Dance to win the IZW Invitational Tournament
8. Native Blood (Navajo Warrior & Ghostwalker) defeated The 602 Wrecking Crew (Jacob "The Riot" Herzberg & "The Irish Hand Grenade" Marty Murphy) to unify the IZW and NWA Arizona Tag Team Championships
9. "XXX" Lawrence Tyler pinned "The Hawaiian Lion" John Williams to unify the IZW World and NWA-Arizona Heavyweight championships

All of the action, and so much more, will be covered in an upcoming episode of IZW Impulse, which can be seen at www.risingphoenixwrestling.com/impulse.html. For more information, visit www.impactzonewrestling.com. IZW returns to action Tuesday night, January 15th at The Sets in Tempe, Arizona.

"Badge of Honer" Quick Results

Sunday, January 6, 2008, 09:54 PM

1. "The Sure Thing" Ryan Wing defeated Panther

2. "The Hybrid" Josh Adams defeated Fierce Fuego in his Force One
debut. "The Ultimate Stud" Jimmy Clydesdale came out several
minutes into the match to scope out Adams, and told him he was
impressed, after the end of the match.

3. Judas Young won the Force One Junior Heavyweight championship
over Diego DiMarco (with Millionare Ted Jr. and Jennifer Lynn)
After the match, Ted Jr. walked off on the former champion.
Manager Jimmy Clydesdale then consulted with Diego, and said
they needed to talk.

4. In a 4 way to decide the number one contender for the Force
One heavyweight championship, Danny Doring prevailed over Mike
Reed, Nicky Benz, and The Rockin' Rebel.

5. There was no decision in the match between Razor Rivera and
his partners High Impact and Ryu Lee and his partners the
Osirian Portal.

6. In a US vs. Canada flag match, the White Lotus won, and was
attacked by his opponent "The Canadian Shooter" Tommy Force
after the match (along with manager Jaden)

7. "Bad Boy" Danny Pagan held on to his Force One Heavyweight
championship belt (barely) with a win over Patch, when Patch's
manager Jaden's interference backfired. Before Pagan could
begin his victory celebration, Danny Doring came to ringside
and demanded that a con tract be signed for the next Force One
show in Manahawkin on February 16th called "Against All Odds".

From all of us at Force One, we'd like to thank our sponsors, the City of Egg Harbor, and most of all the 400+ fans who supported us by coming to our house.
