Troubled rocker PETE DOHERTY is set for more controversy - after a young woman has come forward claiming she is pregnant with his child.
Twenty-year-old Laura McLaughlin - a straight-A student who has been offered a place at Harvard University in the U.S. - claims she is three months pregnant by the Babyshambles frontman and the baby is due in June (08).
McLaughlin - the god-daughter of football boss Sir Alex Ferguson - says, "The baby is Peter's. There is no doubt about that.
"I was a virgin when I met Peter and when we had sex. He knows about the baby. I told him I was pregnant the moment I found out
A spokesman for Doherty says, "Pete says he doesn't know who this girl is."
Doherty, 28, has a four-year-old son Astile with ex-girlfriend Lisa Moorish.
