New ads and Pop Ups in WOW section.

As alot of you may know, we have started pop ups in the WOW forums. These are safe pop ups and will only occur once or twice every 24 hrs. All you have to do is click the button to get out of there or click the ad :) Most of you would have seen or used these ads before and they will only reamin in the WOW section.

We have found alot of people do not reply to the threads that alot of people go to alot of trouble to post for you. Hardcore is ok and it gets alot of responses but the others do not except from regulars. We thought about using hide tags for all pics but I said a long time ago I never wanted to do that unless it is something extra special. For this reason and a couple of others, the ads will remain.

Hope it does not annoy you to much and as said, only occurs once or twice every 24 hrs then all is fine. Feel free to click an ad if you see something you like :) They are safe and it definately helps the forum in the long run.

I don't mind the ads but i'm having a problem. The ads are playing in the background whilst I am viewing the WOW threads giving me no way to skip the ad. Wonder if this a problem at my end or if others are facing the same problem.

thats not really a problem, lion :)

infact, ads are an excellent source of revenue for supporting the site.

but actually, i am not seeing any ads.. dont know the reason why, but glad no ads for me :D

I get some sound playing in background sometimes, took me a while to figure out where it was coming from. Thought my PC was trying to tell me something. :shifty:

They could be in the casino, same deal though, only 1 or maybe 2 every 24 hrs. They might be removed from the casino eventually though.

Yeah i get that too, the song or audio plays as im viewing the thread.

I have about 6-8 usually, i think its because i sometimes have multiple tabs of this site open and sometimes its multiple tabs of those sections that have the ads. With the ads trying to play in the background of each one at the same time i think that causes the crash.

Well I don't have much tabs open, but it still happens to me, many times.

I keep on clicking on the background ad and it won't go away. It keeps coming back. What can I do to get rid of it?

Just click ok on the smaller ad and it will go :)

For the full page when they come, just click in the top right corner on the option to get rid of them :)

Or click the ads to help UOW :)
