WWE Releases Lots of Talent

Mike Johnson is reporting that WWE has released developmental talents Ace Steele, former TNA star Cassidy Riley, Robert Anthony, Michael DiPaolo, Shawn McGrath and George Murdoch. DiPaolo is the former Roadkill of ECW fame. As we noted a few weeks back, DiPaolo had drawn a great deal of heat in Ohio Valley Wrestling and had shown up for shows and not used before missing a few shows.

They have also now officially announced the release of Bobby Lashley on WWE.com

Ace Steel? Man...there goes hopes of a Second City Saints reunion...at least Colt Cabana is still in developmental.


As for Bobby, I liked him. Not as a main eventer...he was a good midcarder. However, if he's gonna puss out has bad as he did after everything they've done for him, then good riddens.
