MWF TAG TEAM TITLE TURMOIL
J-Busta of the MWF Tag Team Champion Canadian Superstars threw Beau Douglas a
curveball this past week. Busta announced that he used one of the post dated
contracts he obtained while Johnny Fabulous (aka John Cena Sr.) was suspended to
exercise Douglas' tag team title match clause at NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS March 29th in
Beau's hometown of Somerville, MA. However, if Douglas and a partner TBA do not
leave Somerville with the gold, he will never receive another title shot. While
President Cena recognizes that Busta's contract is valid, he's added a second
stipulation: if the Canadian Superstars do not retain the titles, J-Busta and Dave

The popular WWE TV legend Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake will be in New Jersey prior to the weekend of February 15th-16th, checking out many of the local barbershops to purchase a brand new pair of sharp oversized scissors. He, along with other TV stars from WWE and ECW will join local stars for a double-show weekend of National Wrestling Superstars action.
Friday night February 15th, NWS comes to the Union, NJ Elks Lodge, 281 Chestnut Street (just off the Parkway) with a 7:45pm bell time.
Live pro wrestling will encompass the Union, NJ area, after a long hiatus, on Friday night February 15th at 7:45pm at the popular Union Elks Lodge (281 Chestnut Street, just off the Parkway and next to Union Memorial Hospital). Beefcake will headline a match he made famous, a Loser Gets A Haircut Match, and the sorry victim could be his opponent, none other than former WWE bad boy Salvatore Sincere, who must come up with a win to prevent the in-ring embarassment of losing his hair.
And more TV stars will abound in Union, including former WWE & WCW hero The Patriot who will be part of a six-man tag-team grudge match along with Indian Brave Draven and a mystery partner, against the evil Baghdad Bullies (Saddam Insane & T.N.T) and one-time ECW brawler The Equalizer. Also on this much anticipated card will be the popular duo that has all girls going ga-ga, The Q-T Pies (Myke "G.Q." Quest & Rhett Titus). Another local standout will be getting some coveted ring time to showcase his talent, Fred "Bonecrusher" Sampson, who has already had many dark matches across river at Madison Square Garden for the WWE. And making his NWS debut that night will be the man whose mystery that might be solved that night, the likes of Bryan Harley.
And there is even more to come, so make sure you order your tickets early, priced at only $17 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors.
Saturday night February 16th, NWS returns to its popular Bergen County, NJ venue, the Ridgefield Park, NJ Knights of Columbus Hall, 106 Bergen Avenue (minutes from Route 46 & the Turnpike) with a 7:35pm bell time.
Brutus does an encore in the ring as he takes on former ECW TV star Julio Dinero, who has also challenged Brutus to a Loser Gets A Haircut Match. Also returning to Knights of Columbus Hall will be the perennial bad boy from the WWE, Salvatore Sincere. Sincere's diabolical nature will try to be tamed by his opponent that night, who has been skyrocketing through the ranks of the Northeast wrestling scene, Cliffside Park's own Pastor George. (Holy cow!) The sensational new tag team The Q-T Pies (Myke "G.Q." Quest & Rhett Titus) will be making the girls scream and swoon in Ridgefield Park, while local standouts such as Joshua Pierce, NWS Cruiserweight Champion J.D. Smoothie, and high-flier Mikey Pacifica will make the entire crowd stand in awe.

The year of 2008 marks the start of a new breed of professional wrestling in California. Pro Wrestling Revolution is born and is part of the National Wrestling Alliance. With that in mind, Pro Wrestling Revolution will also be known as "La Revolucion de la Lucha Libre". The goal is not to try to reinvent the sport of professional wrestling but take back to where it needs to be with a mixture of what it has become today. One of the major ingredients of Pro Wrestling Revolution is the mixture of Lucha Libre. It is obvious to all, this is something that cannot be contained. We have made many friends over the years and we look forward to showcasing these incredible talented luchadores.
We look forward to putting on entertaining shows for all ages and diverse crowds. We have our first date set for May 17th in San Jose, California at Mount Pleasant High School. We will be working with them all year long. We will be releasing the line up in the very near future but can confirm Hijo de Rey Misterio, Piratita Morgan and Octagoncito.
All Pro Wrestling blessed me many years ago with the opportunity to be a part of pro wrestling and I never thought I would be where I am at now. I am thankful for all the knowledge and the opportunities that were given to me, I will never forget. I am moving forward with a different chapter in my life but will never forget where I came from. I will still stay on with APW in some capacities and help where I can be of use.

Jim Neidhart was part of one of wrestling’s most successful tag teams ever, teaming with WWE® Hall Of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart. As a member of The Hart Foundation, Neidhart held the WWE® Tag Team Championship on 2 occassions. The Hart Foundation set new standards for tag team wrestling and literally innovated tag team wrestling in the 80’s and through the 90’s.
Neidhart has earned his reputation as one of wrestling’s true tough guys, even earning the respect of legendary promoter Bill Watts, who called him one of the baddest men to ever come through his Mid South promotion. Jim Neidhart has had success everywhere he has been and expects nothing but the same on May 3rd, when he steps into an NCW ring to do battle. the NCW office now has the unenviable task of finding someone willing to take on “The Anvil” on May 3rd and is hard at work looking for suitable competition.
Neidhart made it clear that he is coming to York, Pennsylvania to kick some butt and whoever is brave enough to enter the ring better be ready for an old fashioned beat down.

Chrono came out later in the evening to chase them off of their attack on Eric Cooper. Chrono demanded he got a piece of either Anhell or Montoya. However, Chrono may have bitten off more then he can chew as Anhell has accepted the challenge. The "Latin Terror" wants to show why he is the most dominant force in Southern State, and the young fiesty Chrono wants to prove to himself and his fans that he doesn't back down from anyone. This one may steal the show!

Doors open at 3pm. Volumes 17 & 18 of the SHIMMER DVD series will be filmed during the course of the taping. Front row is sold out, and the majority of the general admission tickets have already been sold as well. 36 of the $20 general admission tickets remain available. One they sell out, the show is sold out! The show is three months away, but close to selling out, so if you don't have tickets yet, act fast!

The SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES DVD series began filming in late 2005. The first taping featured 18 of the most skilled female wrestlers from around North America, and built the foundation for subsequent tapings. As SHIMMER's fan following started to grow, women athletes from other parts of the world were brought to SHIMMER to mix it up with the Americans as well, giving the DVDs an international flavor. Between that initial taping in November of 2005 and the October 2007 taping, a total of 37 female wrestlers competed under the SHIMMER banner!
Many fans have requested that SHIMMER release new merchandise items to accompany our DVD series, and we've listened! Now available for pre-order is the Limited Edition SHIMMER 2005-2007 Roster Album! This collector's item features photos and profile information/statistics for each and every woman who wrestled for SHIMMER between Volume 1 and Volume 16 (the last DVD filmed in 2007). The Roster Album features the work of SHIMMER staff photographers Jill McKee and Gilda Pasquil, printed in full color on high quality glossy cardstock. The Roster Album is an excellent accompaniment piece to the SHIMMER DVD series. THE HAZE GRANTED SHIMMER TITLE SHOT FOR 2/23 IN NYC!

If you saw Ring of Honor's "Undeniable" pay-per-view broadcast, you witnessed the first women's bout in ROH PPV history between SHIMMER Champion Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze.
The SHIMMER Title was not on the line in this impromptu match, put together by Del Rey's agent Larry Sweeney just moments before it took place. Toward the end of the match, an altercation took place at ringside between Claudio Castagnoli and members of Sweet & Sour Inc. which caused Sara to be being taken off guard as Daizee scored the upset pinfall victory with a rollup.
As a result of The Haze pinning the SHIMMER Champion on ROH PPV, both SHIMMER and ROH officials have agreed that Daizee is now in line to receive a SHIMMER Title match, something she has yet to be granted since the establishment of the championship last summer. Daizee Haze's opportunity will come at ROH's huge "Sixth Anniversary Show" on February 23rd at the Manhattan Center in New York City!
Can The Haze beat Del Rey once again, and become the second ever SHIMMER Champion on February 23rd? Two of the most prominent Women of Honor will battle for the belt as part of ROH's "Sixth Anniversary Show!" Details are below.

MWF TAG TEAM TITLE TURMOIL
J-Busta of the MWF Tag Team Champion Canadian Superstars threw Beau Douglas a
curveball this past week. Busta announced that he used one of the post dated
contracts he obtained while Johnny Fabulous (aka John Cena Sr.) was suspended to
exercise Douglas' tag team title match clause at NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS March 29th in
Beau's hometown of Somerville, MA. However, if Douglas and a partner TBA do not
leave Somerville with the gold, he will never receive another title shot. While
President Cena recognizes that Busta's contract is valid, he's added a second
stipulation: if the Canadian Superstars do not retain the titles, J-Busta and Dave

The popular WWE TV legend Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake will be in New Jersey prior to the weekend of February 15th-16th, checking out many of the local barbershops to purchase a brand new pair of sharp oversized scissors. He, along with other TV stars from WWE and ECW will join local stars for a double-show weekend of National Wrestling Superstars action.
Friday night February 15th, NWS comes to the Union, NJ Elks Lodge, 281 Chestnut Street (just off the Parkway) with a 7:45pm bell time.
Live pro wrestling will encompass the Union, NJ area, after a long hiatus, on Friday night February 15th at 7:45pm at the popular Union Elks Lodge (281 Chestnut Street, just off the Parkway and next to Union Memorial Hospital). Beefcake will headline a match he made famous, a Loser Gets A Haircut Match, and the sorry victim could be his opponent, none other than former WWE bad boy Salvatore Sincere, who must come up with a win to prevent the in-ring embarassment of losing his hair.
And more TV stars will abound in Union, including former WWE & WCW hero The Patriot who will be part of a six-man tag-team grudge match along with Indian Brave Draven and a mystery partner, against the evil Baghdad Bullies (Saddam Insane & T.N.T) and one-time ECW brawler The Equalizer. Also on this much anticipated card will be the popular duo that has all girls going ga-ga, The Q-T Pies (Myke "G.Q." Quest & Rhett Titus). Another local standout will be getting some coveted ring time to showcase his talent, Fred "Bonecrusher" Sampson, who has already had many dark matches across river at Madison Square Garden for the WWE. And making his NWS debut that night will be the man whose mystery that might be solved that night, the likes of Bryan Harley.

Saturday night February 16th, NWS returns to its popular Bergen County, NJ venue, the Ridgefield Park, NJ Knights of Columbus Hall, 106 Bergen Avenue (minutes from Route 46 & the Turnpike) with a 7:35pm bell time.
Brutus does an encore in the ring as he takes on former ECW TV star Julio Dinero, who has also challenged Brutus to a Loser Gets A Haircut Match. Also returning to Knights of Columbus Hall will be the perennial bad boy from the WWE, Salvatore Sincere. Sincere's diabolical nature will try to be tamed by his opponent that night, who has been skyrocketing through the ranks of the Northeast wrestling scene, Cliffside Park's own Pastor George. (Holy cow!) The sensational new tag team The Q-T Pies (Myke "G.Q." Quest & Rhett Titus) will be making the girls scream and swoon in Ridgefield Park, while local standouts such as Joshua Pierce, NWS Cruiserweight Champion J.D. Smoothie, and high-flier Mikey Pacifica will make the entire crowd stand in awe.

The year of 2008 marks the start of a new breed of professional wrestling in California. Pro Wrestling Revolution is born and is part of the National Wrestling Alliance. With that in mind, Pro Wrestling Revolution will also be known as "La Revolucion de la Lucha Libre". The goal is not to try to reinvent the sport of professional wrestling but take back to where it needs to be with a mixture of what it has become today. One of the major ingredients of Pro Wrestling Revolution is the mixture of Lucha Libre. It is obvious to all, this is something that cannot be contained. We have made many friends over the years and we look forward to showcasing these incredible talented luchadores.
We look forward to putting on entertaining shows for all ages and diverse crowds. We have our first date set for May 17th in San Jose, California at Mount Pleasant High School. We will be working with them all year long. We will be releasing the line up in the very near future but can confirm Hijo de Rey Misterio, Piratita Morgan and Octagoncito.
All Pro Wrestling blessed me many years ago with the opportunity to be a part of pro wrestling and I never thought I would be where I am at now. I am thankful for all the knowledge and the opportunities that were given to me, I will never forget. I am moving forward with a different chapter in my life but will never forget where I came from. I will still stay on with APW in some capacities and help where I can be of use.

Jim Neidhart was part of one of wrestling’s most successful tag teams ever, teaming with WWE® Hall Of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart. As a member of The Hart Foundation, Neidhart held the WWE® Tag Team Championship on 2 occassions. The Hart Foundation set new standards for tag team wrestling and literally innovated tag team wrestling in the 80’s and through the 90’s.
Neidhart has earned his reputation as one of wrestling’s true tough guys, even earning the respect of legendary promoter Bill Watts, who called him one of the baddest men to ever come through his Mid South promotion. Jim Neidhart has had success everywhere he has been and expects nothing but the same on May 3rd, when he steps into an NCW ring to do battle. the NCW office now has the unenviable task of finding someone willing to take on “The Anvil” on May 3rd and is hard at work looking for suitable competition.
Neidhart made it clear that he is coming to York, Pennsylvania to kick some butt and whoever is brave enough to enter the ring better be ready for an old fashioned beat down.

Evan Myers told officials he wants to get his hands on Steve Off and they obliged. Steve Off will not be able to get himself counted out as there are no count-outs in this match! There must be a winner this time as Steve Off and Evan Myers, many who say these two are the future will collide, and there _will_ be a winner!

- At Gold Rush, Chrono Chris was victorious in his match, when he was then attacked by Anhell Gonzalez and Don Montoya just to be made an example of. Chrono came out later in the evening to chase them off of their attack on Eric Cooper. Chrono demanded he got a piece of either Anhell or Montoya. However, Chrono may have bitten off more then he can chew as Anhell has accepted the challenge. The "Latin Terror" wants to show why he is the most dominant force in Southern State, and the young fiesty Chrono wants to prove to himself and his fans that he doesn't back down from anyone. This one may steal the show!

- Back at Gold Rush, S-1 and Rebel had a match in which Rebel was victorious. S-1 swears Rebel cheated, and is paying Vinny The Fixxer a hefty and unknown amount of cash to take out Rebel. S-1 will be in the corner of Vinny as he continues his quest to take out The Rockin' Rebel. Will Rebel bring back-up? Will S-1 finally get his wish and get to "pimp slap" Rebel? Just 36 tickets remain available for the next SHIMMER DVD taping! It all takes place at the Berwyn Eagles Club, 6309 26th Street, in Berwyn, IL on Saturday, April 26th. Bell time is 4pm. Doors open at 3pm. Volumes 17 & 18 of the SHIMMER DVD series will be filmed during the course of the taping. Front row is sold out, and the majority of the general admission tickets have already been sold as well. 36 of the $20 general admission tickets remain available. One they sell out, the show is sold out! The show is three months away, but close to selling out, so if you don't have tickets yet, act fast!

The SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES DVD series began filming in late 2005. The first taping featured 18 of the most skilled female wrestlers from around North America, and built the foundation for subsequent tapings. As SHIMMER's fan following started to grow, women athletes from other parts of the world were brought to SHIMMER to mix it up with the Americans as well, giving the DVDs an international flavor. Between that initial taping in November of 2005 and the October 2007 taping, a total of 37 female wrestlers competed under the SHIMMER banner!
Many fans have requested that SHIMMER release new merchandise items to accompany our DVD series, and we've listened! Now available for pre-order is the Limited Edition SHIMMER 2005-2007 Roster Album! This collector's item features photos and profile information/statistics for each and every woman who wrestled for SHIMMER between Volume 1 and Volume 16 (the last DVD filmed in 2007). The Roster Album features the work of SHIMMER staff photographers Jill McKee and Gilda Pasquil, printed in full color on high quality glossy cardstock. The Roster Album is an excellent accompaniment piece to the SHIMMER DVD series. For those of you who have received our small glossy cardstock promotional flyers before our tapings, the Roster Album is printed the same way, on the same glossy cardstock. Just imagine full size pages of that glossy cardstock material, in eight page booklet form, and that's the Roster Album!

THE HAZE GRANTED SHIMMER TITLE SHOT FOR 2/23 IN NYC!

If you saw Ring of Honor's "Undeniable" pay-per-view broadcast, you witnessed the first women's bout in ROH PPV history between SHIMMER Champion Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze.
The SHIMMER Title was not on the line in this impromptu match, put together by Del Rey's agent Larry Sweeney just moments before it took place. Toward the end of the match, an altercation took place at ringside between Claudio Castagnoli and members of Sweet & Sour Inc. which caused Sara to be being taken off guard as Daizee scored the upset pinfall victory with a rollup.
As a result of The Haze pinning the SHIMMER Champion on ROH PPV, both SHIMMER and ROH officials have agreed that Daizee is now in line to receive a SHIMMER Title match, something she has yet to be granted since the establishment of the championship last summer. Daizee Haze's opportunity will come at ROH's huge "Sixth Anniversary Show" on February 23rd at the Manhattan Center in New York City!
Can The Haze beat Del Rey once again, and become the second ever SHIMMER Champion on February 23rd? Two of the most prominent Women of Honor will battle for the belt as part of ROH's "Sixth Anniversary Show!" Details are below.
