Playboy representative Theresa Hennessey says Playboy has always had a great relationship with WWE, and they felt like Maria was one of the "more popular Divas, so it just made sense to make her the choice."
Maria's Playboy will be indeed released on Friday, March 7th. Hennessey also said that Maria will be the only WWE Diva featured in this year's Playboy. WWE's Director of Publicity says WWE chose Maria because she is one of their "most popular, engaging, entertaining and beautiful Divas. It was a no-brainer."
