Found this handy script to use with FireFox to check if Rapidshare links are alive or dead without leaving the page and then make them clickable!

It only works with FireFox.

First off install Grease Monkey Script here

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downloads/file/22898/greasemonkey-0.7.20080121.0-fx.xpi

Greasemonkey by Aaron Boodman
Allows you to customize the way a webpage displays using small bits of JavaScript.

Then install this script and it will add itself to Grease Monkey

Now when you go to a forum and Need to check if a Rapidshare link is alive or dead simply press
SHIFT+R

If link is alive a + symbol appears and it is now a clickable link
If link is dead a ? symbol appears

For more info go here ->

You can change the shortcut in the Prefs under greasemonkey!
Helpful to know if those pesky rapid-links work fast!

It also does the links that are hidden through lix.net, keep it updated for new features!
