FANS OF ‘The Great Khali’ shocked by his sudden defeat at the hands of Undertaker in the Smack Down-elimination chamber match, should take heart as the Indian wrestler is again on a winning spree.

Amit Swami, who claims to be the spokesperson of Dalip Singh Rana alias the Great Khali told media persons in Gurgaon, on Wednesday (March 12) that the Indian fighter had bounced back from the loss he suffered on March 6.

Swami informed that The Great Khali (Smack Down) defeated Stevie Richards (ECW) by pin following the Khali Bomb in Chicago.

Quoting the Indian wrestler, Swami said, “The Great Khali has said that winning and losing are two sides of same coin and results don’t matter much in the short term. I am impervious to wins and loses as long as I enjoy fighting in the rings”.

When asked, how he had come to be appointed as the spokes person of the Great Khali, Swami revealed that he and Indian wrestler were close friends for last fourteen years.

Interestingly he also cited a letter from Ben Weeder, president of a World Wrestling body, praising The Great Khali not only for his on ring exploits, but also for on screen histrionics of the Indian.

Swami said that The Great Khali would remain a powerful force in the field of wrestling irrespective of the fact that he wins or he loses as he had massive influence on the game.

When asked whether the March 6 loss against Batista and Kane would have any affect on the performance and stature of Khali, he replied in negative saying, “The loss is history and Khali is not perturbed much by such things.

Here it is to be noted that despite Khali’s above said victories, there have been murmurs about how the WWE is editing his losses in the Indian media in order to gain market in this country.

The WWE wants to churn maximum profits from the Khali brand as he has turned immensely popular in the country, where wrestling is still seen as real fighting in most of the cases.

Khali, whose real name is Dalip Singh Rana is an employee in the Punjab police and originally hails from Himachal Pradesh.
