As part of The Mayhem's "go-home edition" prior to WrestleMania XXIV this Sunday @ The Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL, "Your Home Of Wrestling Radio" presented a huge world-wide exclusive...Mr. Cena himself. "The Champ" was a little busy & tied up this past Monday night on RAW, so The Big Mosh, Blade, & DFL were able to be joined by John Cena...the original, just days before his son steps into the squared circle for his chance to regain the WWE Championship at "The Showcase Of The Immortals."

Mr. Cena was welcomed by Mosh & Blade, and in true "Johnny" fashion, said he was doing "fabulous." In the days leading into WM XXIV, Mr. Cena said that "there is a lot of Mayhem going on" in the Cena household. Everyone in the family is very much hoping that John walks out of Orlando, FL as the WWE Champion. He is fully aware that there are two other huge competitors in the contest, and that in essence, this match will feature three champions, but is fully confidant his son will reign supreme.

Blade brought up the fact that John Cena is one of the most-sought after celebrities & entertainers not only in the professional-wrestling & sports-entertainment business, but in all of Hollywood as well...as well as having been only in the WWE for five-six years, he is as popular as The Rock, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, & heading into the direction of "The Immortal One" himself. Blade also mentioned about how a lot of the critics & hardcore fans are very quick to criticize John after his matches, as well as harp on the fact that "he only has a handful of moves," and that some of his bouts are almost the exact same. Capping off his series of his first comments into the interview & getting into his first question, Blade asked Mr. Cena if he even knew that his son was going to come back @ The Royal Rumble & whether he is surprised to see John, Jr. back so soon. Mr. Cena candidly said that he was not aware of his son's "surprise" in any way...that the last time he spoke with him prior to The Rumble was two-three days beforehand, and he was still in rehab. When he was watching The Royal Rumble at the family's home, "you cold have picked up my jaw from the living room floor." He was informed by doctors that John would be missing anywhere from eight months-one year of action. Mr. Cena was impressed with how driven John was in his attempts to come back as quickly as possible. But, he too was surprised by how quickly his son was able to recuperate from his injury. He believes without a shadow of a doubt that John loves the business, the WWE, & his fans around the world -- regardless of what the critics say & feel.

With WrestleMania taking place in "The Sunshine State" this weekend, Johnny did complement The Mayhem Crew for "how they roll" when it comes to the ladies. "Your Home Of Wrestling Radio" invites all of our fans to check out our new Mayhem Girl, the beautiful "Miss Mayhem" herself, Helena! Maybe the future Mrs. Cena...Who knows? Check out our official website (MondayNightMayhem.com) our official MySpace page (located at MySpace.com/MondayNightMayhem), & her brand-new MNM MySpace page (MySpace.com/MissMNMayhem), as you will be seeing more of this beauty as part of our new spring season!

Mr. Cena has loved every minute of interacting with his fans, as well as his son's fans...especially at the Unforgiven PPV in 2006, when his son took on Edge in a TLC Match. Many fans know that Mr. Cena has had several appearances on WWE television over the past few years -- including when the current World Heavyweight Champion, "The Rated-R" Superstar" Edge busted into his home and took him out, as well as when the current WWE Champion, "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton gave him a concussion several months ago. Mr. Cena's reply & "shoot" to both current champions: "That's why they make Preparation H." He does credit both superstars as being "tough SOB's," but of the flip-side of "Mr. Orton," he hopes that Randy gets his ass kicked this Sunday, after "wanting to play soccer" with him not so long ago.

Mr. Cena does feel that his son's match against "The Game" & "The Legend Killer" this Sunday night will be hard to top last year's performance by John, Jr. against "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXIV. He credits his son & HBK for putting on a fantastic match (one that he feels belongs in the upper-echelon of WrestleMania history) that night @ Ford Field in Detroit, but their follow-up one-hour time limit match on RAW that followed shortly thereafter. Besides working with "The Showstopper," Mr. Cena discussed his son's feud with "The Samoan Bulldozer" Umaga & The Great Khali over the past year or so, and once again describes how passionate his son's love for the business is & how he has no difficulties getting into the ring with someone who might seem a little more intimidating and/or larger in stature/size.

Mr. Cena wished to clear up the internet rumors/"newsline" about him heading to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling: "You will never see Mr. Cena in TNA." He has the ultimate respect for those who perform within TNA, and has worked with some of TNA's finest competitors, but did wish to squash the rumors exclusively on "Your Home Of Wrestling Radio."

Mr. Cena looks forward to seeing what is in store for his son post-WrestleMania & into the rest of his career: including some of his new feuds on the horizon (possibly having John, Jr. against CM Punk). Johnny is also very proud of what lies ahead for his son outside of the ring: as he is currently filming his new film through WWE Films ("12 Rounds"), as well as his charity work through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Mosh & Blade concur with the father of "The Champ," that if John keeps going the way he is, without a doubt, you will see him in the WWE Hall Of Fame in the future.

Also, in this near 40-minute interview, Mr. Cena gives his uncensored takes/comments on whether or not he could see his son leave the WWE for Hollywood, the "craziest" thing a fan has offered him to meet his son, how close it really came for him to "duke it out" with "Cowboy" Bob Orton, working with Vince McMahon (and how surprised he was to see Mr. McMahon take part in an independent event with his son in the Boston, MA area), his son growing up in the business w/"The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe (and how pleased he would be if both his son & Joe would be champions of their respective promotions), & what match he believes should close the show at WrestleMania XXIV. His answer may surprise you...

Join Mr. Cena this Friday night (March 28th) in Nashua, NH, as the MWF presents: "Live Free Or Die," at The Nashua Elks Lodge -- which will feature a live wrestling event, a Q&A session, & an autograph/photo fan fest. We strongly encourage all fans to check out Johnny's official website: FabulousProductions.com, where fans can check out his new monthly TV show and get his brand-new T-Shirt. In addition, head on over to the official website for MWF (BotonWrestling.com) & the official MWF MySpace, located at MySpace.com/MWF2001.
