While Backlash is officially sold out, there are expected to be a small amount of tickets released the day of the show. This is normal procedure for areas originally blocked by production or unused comps being released back into the retail population.

Maria was named #84 in FHM Magazine's list of the 100 Hottest Women.

WWE Hall of Famer Killer Kowalski was told that due to his age, he wouldn't be a candidate for surgery to help him with navigating and moving around after several falls caused knee injuries that led to his hospitalization and physical rehabilitation. Thanks to Georgie for her help.

Planet 51, the animated film that Dwayne Johnson will be the lead voice for, is expected to be released in the Fall of 2009. I happened to catch Johnson doing a cameo in the Reno: 911 film while flipping channels this morning, so if you didn't know he was in that film briefly, well, now you know.

Devin Cutting sent the following.....WWE returns to the Civic Center in Erie, Pennsylvania on August 23rd, 2008 and the Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on August 24th, 2008.

The Palm Beach Post featured an article today noting that several Florida Universities shot down allowing Brooke Hogan's VH-1 reality series to shoot on campus, feeling it would disturb students during finals. You can read more below:

FAU not first choice for reality TV star's shoot

Wednesday, April 23, 2008

BOCA RATON — Reality TV star and Hulkamania offspring Brooke Hogan was denied admission to three state universities this week before touring Florida Atlantic University's campus Tuesday.

But it wasn't her grades that were keeping her out of the schools. It was her nine-camera entourage filming for a VH1 television show.

Administrators at the University of South Florida, Florida State University and the University of Central Florida said the celebrity hubbub accompanying Hogan's visit would be too much for students during year-end exams.

Hogan may have been at FAU to film an episode of Hogan Knows Best, a show that focuses on the family life of professional wrestler Terry Bollea, who became famous in the 1980s as Hulk Hogan. Or, she may have been there to film a spinoff show of her own.

"The Hogan people approached us, but we declined," said Grant Heston, a spokesman for UCF in Orlando. "This is finals week. It's poor timing, and it's a commitment of our resources and time that we can't make right now."

Lucky for FAU, finals don't start until Friday.

Hogan, 19, an aspiring singer, visited FAU on Tuesday and Wednesday. She had lunch with Student Government President Tony Teixeira, chatted up sorority and fraternity members, and rode around on two golf carts rented by the show.

FAU spokeswoman Kristine McGrath said just one school employee accompanied Hogan's crew and no additional security was provided.

"The university would not agree to an arrangement that would be disruptive to the academic setting," McGrath said.

Florida International University in Miami also agreed to a Hogan tour, but said it would charge a fee for the staff time needed to arrange the visit.

School officials never heard back from Hogan's producers.

FSU has turned away a handful of reality TV programs because officials feared they'd be disruptive.

UCF even shut out Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee when he wanted to do the show Tommy Lee Goes to College on its campus.

FAU administrators haven't decided whether Hogan will be allowed to film on campus if she applies and is accepted as a student.
