VINCE MCMAHON TO RECEIVE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD AT PRESTIGIOUS ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY GATHERING
Vince McMahon is set to receive the Promax/BDA lifetime achievement award at the 53rd annual Promax/BDA conference in Manhattan, according to today's edition of Variety.
McMahon will be honored "for his successful development of the WWE brand, which began life as a regional syndicated program and now incorporates "virtually every conceivable platform available in today's marketplace," in the words of CEO Jonathan Block-Verk.
Promax/BDA is a international non-profit organization made up of members of promotion and marketing professionals working in electronic, multimedia and broadcast media forms that hold conferences and symposiums to recognize issues facing those working in the entertainment realm and how to best deal with them.
