WWE TOUTS VINCE'S LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD, VICKIE GUERRERO CRITICIZES WIVES OF WRESTLERS WHO CONDEMN WWE, RELEASED STAR RETURNS TO THE RING & MORE

The new issue of WWE Magazine (Triple H on the cover) features an interview with Vickie Guerrero. She noted that the worst thing for her children watching her on Smackdown is to see her kissing Edge on TV. Guerrero was asked her thoughts on "wrestling wives that suddenly decide to condemn WWE in the media." Vickie responded, "I'm very disappointed with them. When they were a part of WWE and their husbands were working, they had no problems cashing the paychecks. But, if something goes wrong, they're the first ones to lash out. I've never been a public person - when Eddie passed away, I declined every interview request. I didn't want to go on TV and tell everyone how I felt. But this business has put food on our table for more than 20 years. It's taken care of my kids, and these people have become a second family to me. I don't have any respect for the women who've forgotten that this business fed their families for a long time."

Former WWE/ECW star Balls Mahoney already returned to the independent scene over the weekend, working in New Jersey for National Wrestling Superstars.

WWE Magazine also features interviews with Big Daddy V, Matt Striker and Ashley Massaro, as well an article by Chris Jericho about the relationship between heavy metal music and professional wrestling that is a great read. Additional notes from the Magazine: It claimed there were 4,136 signs devoted to Ric Flair at Wrestlemania XXIV....JBL listed his three favorite bouts as the No Mercy 2004 match vs. Undertaker, His Judgment Day 2005 I Quit match vs. John Cena (that was awesome, but I always hated the finish) and the No Way Out Steel Cage with barbed wire top vs. Undertaker at No Way Out 2005. I'm really shocked he didn't list a match with Eddie Guerrero, who JBL loved working with....A "Fantasy Warfare" piece over who which team would win - The Hollywood Blondes or John Morrison & The Miz. Obviously, the Blondes would win, unless they were counted out while hysterically laughing and mocking The Miz.
