CATWALK QUEEN? Designer Julian MacDonald is rumoured to want singer Amy Winehouse to model for him at London Fashion Week.
Fashion blogs are abuzz with the news that troubled 'Rehab' singer Amy Winehouse could make an appearance modelling at London Fashion Week.
The rumour is that designer Julian MacDonald wants her to appear in a gown for the finale of his September runway show.
Each year the Welsh designer chooses an 'It girl' to model for his collection - last year it was British supermodel Naomi Campbell, and back in 2006 Paris Hilton donned a crystal beaded mini at the end of his show.
"She's an amazing talent," he told Britain's Metro newspaper.
"We are always busy working on fashion week. She's an incredible person, who is just very unique and has a great style. She is just so different."
MacDonald is not the first designer to admire Winehouse's style, French designer Karl Lagerfield said she was the inspiration for his pre-Fall 2008 collection, titled Métiers d'Art, where models took to the runway sporting sky-high beehive hairdos and thick black eyeliner.
More recently Winehouse was voted the "ultimate heroine" in an online poll of people under the age of 25.
