Fulham's Brian McBride scored the winner as the United States beat Angola 1-0 in a behind-closed-doors World Cup practice game in Hamburg.
No journalists or spectators were allowed at the game, which featured unlimited substitutions.
USA captain Claudio Reyna returned after a hamstring injury and goalkeeper Tim Howard also had a run-out.
Angola played much of the game with 10 men after Loco picked up his second booking in the 30th minute.
