The start:
Angle quickly takes down Rey, as Angle aggressively corners Angle. Angle takes Mysterio down, and gets in a quick arm wrench, and stomps the arm. Angle once again takes down Mysterio, and is showing great intensity in his “final” WWE match. Angle takes Mysterio down with the leg, and goes for a quick ankle lock, but Rey grabs the ropes, and Rey rolls out. Mid-match notes:

Back in the ring, Rey & Angle face off, in an intense moment. Angle drives the elbow into Rey’s back. Rey dives under Angle, only to be met with a vicious European uppercut. Angle locks in a body scissors on Mysterio (as Heyman announces that Rey Mysterio will defend the World Heavyweight Championship at ECW One Night Stand…against SABU!), and then goes to the arm, but Mysterio gets up, only to be taken down again. Angle hits a rib-breaker for 2, and takes Mysterio over with a big German suplex for a 2 count, before locking in a body scissors headlock.

Rey comes back with kicks to the leg, then with a dropkick, but Angle snaps Rey off with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for two 2 counts. Rey plants Angle with a big swinging DDT, as Rey comes back with offense, and a huge revolving head scissors takedown, followed by an inverted snapmare out of a sunset flip. Rey drops Angle into the second turnbuckle, and Rey kicks Angle in the head, knocking the machine out of the ring, to which Rye slides out and takes Angle down with another head scissors takedown. Rey hits the seated senton back inside for 2, as Angle reverses into a sunset flip for 2, and Angle hits the 180-degree German suplex for a close 2-count. Kurt whips Mysterio, who counters a charge into a schoolboy for a 2 count, but Angle takes Mysterio down, as well as the straps.

Batista's Coming:
A video package announced that Batista is coming back in 35 days!

Backstage:
In a pre-taped promo, Bobby Lashley talks about his win for the United States Title, and says he looks forward to earning respect instead of asking for it (like JBL). He says he is proud to be the people’s U.S. Champion, and that he can’t wait to get his hands on Booker T.

Backstage:
Also backstage, Nunzio asks around to see if anyone has seen Big Vito.

Matt Hardy vs. Nunzio
Referee: Mike Posey

The start:
Both lock up, and Hardy goes to work on the left arm of Nunzio. Nunzio does the same, and grabs a quick hammerlock, but Hardy goes into a side headlock, and hits a shoulder block on Nunzio. Nunzio gets the hammerlock, and takes Hardy down, but Hardy comes back with a scoop slam and drops the elbow for a 2 count. Hardy peppers Nunzio with right hands, and hits a sit-out powerbomb from the corner for another 2 count.

The Finish:
Nunzio grabs the headlock, and face-plants Hardy with a DDT for 2, before going into a key lock. Hardy gets out, but Nunzio snapmares Hardy down, and hits a dropkick to the kisser for 1 ½. Nunzio wrenches the arm, and the crowd energizes Hardy, taking down Nunzio before hitting a back body drop. Hardy hits a Crossface bulldog for 2, but Nunzio fires back, only to be hit in the back with a diving elbow, and slammed with the Twist of Fate for the 1, 2, and 3

Winner: Matt Hardy

The Aftermath:
Afterwards, Vito comes out with a slinky black dress on, which frightens the Sicilian Shooter, who runs away.

Piper's Pit:
Piper starts off by saying any time there’s somewhere no one will go, the WWE calls him, and that he’s a one-man band. Piper says he didn’t come here to make friends, he came here to learn something, and he wants to see the giant Khali for himself. Out comes Khali with Daivari, and Khali completely dwarfs the Rowdy one. Piper says he wouldn’t want to do prison time with the giant, and Daivari says Khali doesn’t speak English (the mystery is solved!). Piper verbally runs down Khali, as he asks where Khali eats, to which Daivari says he eats people like Piper. Piper asks where he is from, Daivari says from the Punjab jungles of India. Piper then says that The Undertaker is the toughest man ever in the WWE, and that Khali is lucky, as Daivari reminds Piper that Khali destroyed ‘Taker with his bare hands. Piper gets on the second rope to speak to Khali eye-to-eye, but Khali goozles Piper, as Daivari makes the big man release the Scotsman. Daivari says that Khali is the most dominant force in the WWE, to which Piper says that Daivari sure isn’t, and Piper slaps Daivari, to which Khali takes down Piper and hits an overhand chop to the head, knocking Piper out cold!

In the arena:
Tony Chimel introduces the 2005 Diva Search winner, Ashley Massaro, who joins Cole & Tazz on commentary!

Jillian Hall vs. Kristal
Referee: Chris Kay

Jillian grabs a headlock, then goes to the mat, but Kristal gets the head scissors, but Jillian hits a back suplex followed by a running flip senton for 2. Jillian gets a stiff kick, but Kristal drives Jillian down. Jillian gets into Kristal’s mind with a chest rub, and Jillian gains the win by reversing a victory roll in a surprisingly good Divas matchup.

Winner: Jillian Hall

The Aftermath:
Afterwards, Michelle McCool comes out in a sexy teacher’s outfit, and says that she’s going to teach the Divas how to be ladies. But, she also says that things are about to get a whole lot hotter around here.

Mark Henry vs. Paul Burchill
Referee: Chris Kay

The match:
Right off the bat, Henry clotheslines Burchill down, and hits Burchill with right hands, knees and boots. Henry then connects with the World’s Strongest Slam twice, for the easy pinfall.

Winner: Mark Henry

The Aftermath:
After the match, Henry suplexes Burchill onto the ropes, and stiffly kicks him in the face, before slamming Burchill repeatedly into the steel post. Mark then exposes the barricade, and locks in the same neck wrench in the ropes as he did to Benoit, as Burchill bleeds buckets from the mouth.

Next Week:
A promo is played of the impending return of the one and only…Mr. Kennedy, who is back next week!

Suddenly, Matthews is dragged under! Finlay pulls Matthews out, and hits the Celtic Cross for the win.

Winner: Finlay

The Aftermath:
After the match, Finlay beckons his little man, who proceeds to tear Caden Matthews a new one, with his own body and Finlay’s shillelagh, and Finlay slams the midget onto Matthews. Soon after, Finlay kicks the little man under the ring.

Non Title Match
Booker T vs. Bobby Lashley (c)

Lashley hits a high elbow, and some clothesline takedowns, which earn 2, and he charges Booker into the corner. Lashley catches the leg, only to get sidekicked. Lashley counters the Book End, and hits two belly-to-belly suplexes, as the big mans sets up for the Spear, only to get kicked. Booker goes for a sidekick, but Lashley catches him and hits an explosive running powerslam for the win!

Winner the United States Champion: Bobby Lashley

The Aftermath:
After the match, William Regal assaults Lashley, and in comes Finlay, who makes it a 2-on-1 with his shillelagh. Booker then gets Lashley up, and decimates Lashley with the Book End. Finlay & Regal put the throne in the ring, as Finlay & Regal set Lashley up, but Lashley fights back, but is eventually overwhelmed by the numbers game (and the shillelagh), and is taken out with a big sidekick from “King” Booker! Booker gets on the mike, calling Bobby a peasant, and Finlay & Regal force Lashley to bow down to the “King”, before forcing Lashley to kiss his feet! It’s “All Hail King Booker” in the ring, as the show caps off another episode.
