One phone call transformed Greene County resident and avid pro wrestling fan Justin Guy from "Monday Night Raw" viewer to a winner in McMahon's Million Dollar Mania giveaway.

Guy, 26, won $75,000 as a part of the World Wrestling Entertainment chairman's promise to give away $1 million of his own wealth to fans of "Monday Night Raw" on USA Network.

On Monday, WWE chairman Vince McMahon began his million dollar giveaway after the first televised match of the evening.

After awarding $200,000 to Daniel Crummett of Twentynine Palms, Calif., McMahon himself called Guy to inform him of his good fortune.

"We were excited. We couldn't believe it at first. Especially right now with gas and food prices so high, it is just a blessing," said Guy, of his and his wife Amanda's reaction.

Guy had entered the sweepstakes by registering online at the World Wrestling Entertainment's Web site, www.wwe.com.

Participants can register daily the week before the match, according to the Web site.

During "Monday Night Raw," Guy was watching the program with his telephone nearby.

He was surprised to hear his phone ring, he said, but answered the required password to win the prize money. A password appeared every 30 minutes on the program and was available between 9 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. on the WWE Web site. The password was required of all lucky fans McMahon called on Monday night.

Eight people won varying amounts of money ranging from $2 to $250,000. Guy was the second of the eight winners on Monday night.

Guy was given an invitation during the course of the phone call to attend a free WWE press conference open to the public at Hard Rock Cafe in New York's Times Square to meet McMahon, WWE champion Triple H, John Cena, and WWE Diva Maria.

However, because of work and family commitments Guy turned down his personal invitation only to receive a request to allow someone from WWE to come to his home sometime Tuesday.

Guy is unsure of who will be coming to Greeneville or what the nature of their visit will entail, but Guy said he was excited to have such a visitor.

Guy, who lives on Pruitt Road, works as a caregiver for the mentally disabled at Evergreen Presbyterian Ministries and is a father of three children, Dakota, 4, Skylar, 2, and Brian,1. He said he plans to use the prize money to pay some bills, then put most of the money in the bank.

McMahon will hold another Million Dollar Mania giveaway Monday, June 16, according to the WWE Web site. Fans can register online to enter the second giveaway.
