J.R.'s Superstar of the Week
By Jim Ross
June 8, 2006

Each week on WWE.com, based on the events seen on RAW, Jim Ross will give his opinion on which Superstar he thought was the RAW Superstar of the Week:

http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/inside/hhh160.jpgIt was a tough call this week for the Superstar of the Week on RAW. No match jumped off the screen at me even though there were several interesting things that transpired that I liked in the ring. The MVP of the show had to be Triple H.

Triple H vs. Big Show was solid while it lasted, but it was The Game's mental acumen that impressed me later in the show during the Mr. McMahon Kiss My Ass Club. Great wrestlers have to be able to think, game plan, and use all their tools in their tool box to be successful. The veteran, 10-time Champion outthought the McMahons in avoiding membership into the most exclusive, non-desirable club in WWE. But at what price? A heavy one, if I were a gambling man.

I have a good feeling next week will answer that question. I honestly don't know how Triple H will survive the balance of his WWE career if he is going to be shut out of future championship opportunities. Plus, I don't see Triple H wanting to ply his trade elsewhere. His legacy is in WWE. Crossing the McMahons can be hell, trust me on that one. Next Monday may well end up Triple H's worst night of his controversial career.

We all reap what we sow in life and Triple H may discover that he is not “bulletproof” when it comes to crossing the boss.

I hope next week this decision is just as hard but only for different reasons. RAW is so ready for many of the young athletes to step up and earn main event status. Who are you putting your money on? Thanks for watching the WWE's flagship broadcast, Monday Night RAW. We do appreciate it.

BOOMER SOONER!
