Light heavyweights Stephan Bonnar and Rashad Evans, two of the most celebrated alumni from ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ series, will return to Spike TV on Wednesday, June 28th to battle each other in an Ultimate Fight Night bout at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas that could have serious implications on the 205-pound weight division.

“Rashad is a resilient and tough guy, a good boxer and good wrestler,” said Bonnar. “He’s hard to put away, and he’s gonna be in good shape, so I’ve got to be ready.”

Bonnar, a season one TUF finalist, has won three in a row in the Octagon, most recently a close three round decision over Keith Jardine in April.

Evans, the heavyweight winner of season two of TUF, also had a tough go in his last bout, eking out a decision victory over Sam Hoger. The pride of Lansing, Michigan vows to let it all go in this upcoming fight.

“The key thing is coming in, just letting it all hang out, and not worrying about the outcome,” said Evans. “If you worry about the outcome too much, then you find yourself trying to win, and when you find yourself trying to win, you don’t take any risks and you’re more of a cautious fighter. When you go out there and let it hang out, amazing things can happen.”

Ultimate Fight Night, which is headlined by a middleweight showdown between Chris Leben and Anderson Silva, will air live on Spike TV.
