FIP returned to action in Inverness, FL. The crowd was just over 200 people, which is double what FIP drew in the same building just two weeks ago. Results saw:
1) Alex Porteau defeated Kenny King
2) Korey Chavis defeated Ryan Drago
3) Davey Richards said he wanted to challenge the winner of the Bryan Danielson vs. Sal Rinauro FIP Heavyweight Title Match. Danielson and his manager Dave Prazak came out and said that Richards doesn't deserve a shot. Roderick Strong came out and said he deserves a shot. Colt Cabana was next out and made a challenge for a title shot. Danielson then said that they could compete in an elimination match and he would take on the winner on 7/7 when FIP returns to Inverness. Of course, Danielson first had to get past Rinauro later on this card.
4) Shingo Takagi, who was Steve Madison's hired assassin for the night, defeated Erick Stevens after Madison interfered. Before the match, Madison added himself to the ..1 contender's elimination match.
5) Black Market defeated The Heartbreak Express by DQ in their first defense of the FIP Tag Team Titles.
6) Jerrelle Clark & Jay Fury defeated Seth Delay & Chasyn Rance.
7) Bryan Danielson defeated Sal Rinauro to retain the FIP Heavyweight Title.
8) Colt Cabana won a six man elimination match that included Austin Aries, Steve Madison, Davey Richards, Roderick Strong and Canadian Cougar. Order of elimination in the over 30 minute match saw:
A) Cougar out to Aries
B) Strong out to Madison
C) Richards out to Aries
D) Madison out to Cabana
E) Aries out to Cabana
FIP returns to action tonight with a ROH style show in Orlando at the Downtown Orlando Recreation Center. The show is called "Impact Of Honor" and will feature two ROH title matches. Tickets will be available at the door. Check FullImpactPro.com for more info. The lineup has:
