Gillings ... she allegedly told a colleague to shut his mouth.
WITH a drink in hand and wearing a revealing party dress, this is the Gold Coast socialite and former Pacific Sky cruise director accused of trying to cover up the death of Dianne Brimble.
Pacific Sky's former entertainment boss Georgie Gillings, who allegedly ordered a colleague to "shut your mouth" when he tried to share information about the tragedy, is now expected to be called as a witness at the inquest into Mrs Brimble's death.

Further claims of a P&O cover-up came yesterday as the company apologised for using an offensive advertising postcard a year after the incident.

The card was described by her family's lawyer as inviting men onboard for "orgies with bikini-clad women".

In a statement yesterday, P&O said the cards were "insensitive and do not represent our values".

Mrs Brimble was found dead and naked in a stranger's cabin intoxicated with a lethal quantity of the party drug fantasy on September 23, 2002. Eight men are persons of interest - Mark Wilhelm, Matthew Slade, Dragan Losic, Petar Pantic, Ryan Kuchel, Letterio Silvestri, Luigi Vitale and Sakelaros Kambouris.

As the coronial inquest continued yesterday, Georgie Gillings, 33, said through her agent she expected to be called as a witness.

She allegedly told the ship's magician, Stephen Hart, to "shut your mouth" when he suggested Mrs Brimble's death may not have been an accident.

"(I said) 'Georgie, there's something suss about the girl that died', to which she said, 'Shut your mouth'," Mr Hart told the inquest yesterday.

"(She said) this has gone straight to head office, you are to keep a low profile, for the rest of the cruise, you're not to talk to anybody about this and you are not to drink for the rest of the cruise," he said.

"She said, 'Can you do this?' and I said yes."

Ms Gillings was in charge of entertainment on the Pacific Sky.

Her agent Madonna Williams said yesterday her client was a "vivacious girl with many friends".

"She is a good, solid actor. She has worked on cruises and was the director on the Pacific Sky, organising the onboard entertainment and frequently performing in shows herself," she said.

The former Gold Coast beauty queen took the job at P&O after her acting work dried up.

In 2004, she was contracted by Warner Brothers Movie World to play Marilyn Monroe.

The inquest resumes today after NSW Coroner Jacqueline Milledge yesterday warned she had no intention of heeding calls from P&O lawyers to narrow the terms of the inquest.

"Mrs Brimble did not die in a vacuum," Ms Milledge said. "We've heard about misbehaviour, drunk behaviour, debaucherous behaviour and harassment of female passengers."
