View Full Version : Porn Spam Posts Stopped

Due to alot of spam posts being made by the robotic members that join to advertise porn sites and more, I have implemented a new setting that new members will not be allowed to post any links out till they have a total of 15 posts. This should not be a huge problem as 15 posts is nothing.

In case we missed any or some do get through some how, please PM a staff member and tell them about it. Although, with this new rule, they should stop soon.

Please remember, if you see any of these spam posts, we advise NOT to click on any of those links as most have some kind of virus waiting for you at the end of them. UOWForums.com is not responsible for any link you click on the site made in posts.

Thankyou and continue to enjoy the forums.

I thought posting links was against the rules anyhow other then to media and stuff like that. So obviously people shouldn't be clicking them, but those who don't know computers like to click links I guess...

Thanks for fixing this problem.

It is against the rules but these are companies that send out robots to do this and people. Most popular forums have them, they are a pain and everyone has to do deal with them. True some people new to the Internet click these links but they soon learn not to lol the hard way.
