Young star ... Teresa Palmer in Grudge 2
NEWCOMER Nathalie Kelley may be in the hot seat in The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift, but she isn't the only young Aussie actress burning bright in Hollywood.
South Australia's Teresa Palmer (pictured) sprung to attention on the red carpet at Cannes.

She has production of the horror sequel The Grudge 2 behind her and has been cast in Jumpers, the upcoming adventure trilogy directed by The Bourne Supremacy's Doug Liman.

Hollywood found Palmer even before her three Australian films - Cannes selection 2:37, Guests and December Boys, in which she stars opposite Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe, made it to the screen.

Rachael Taylor, a star of Seven's failed soap, Headland, has kicked off her Hollywood career with the upcoming horror film See No Evil and one of 2007s big-budget blockbusters, Transformers.

Jacinda Barrett continues to mix arthouse (The Human Stain) with blockbusters (Poseidon).

Recently married star of Three Dollars, Sarah Wynter, continues to work in the US, with her character Kate Warner returning in series five of 24.

Kate Beahan is forging a path in Hollywood after Flightplan with Jodie Foster.

And Emily Browning continues to pick up occasional work, including the romantic comedy The Girl's Guide To Hunting And Fishing, after her turn in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.

So in Aussiewood it's not all about Nicole and Naomi.
