US police are hunting an armed robber who used an inner-tube as a getaway vehicle.
The man stole money bags from a security guard outside a bank then jumped into a nearby river and floated away on the inner-tube.
The robbery happened in a Bank of American car park in Monroe, Seattle, reports the Seattle Times.
Police spokeswoman Debbie Willis said the robber confronted the guard as he walked from the bank to an armoured car, carrying canvas money bags.
He sprayed the guard with pepper spray, then "grabbed the money and ran on foot to the river. He got into an inner tube and floated westbound", according to witnesses.
Police have no leads so far but say it's possible the man had an accomplice waiting for him further down the Skykomish River.
