After several years of being cancer free, former All Japan Pro Wrestling Triple Crown and UWF champ Steve Williams has been informed that cancer may have returned to his lymph nodes. He'll be undergoing a biopsy shortly. Williams published an autobiography, "How Dr. Death Became Dr. Life" a few years ago recounting his career and overcoming cancer. About two years back, I attended a motivational speech about Williams' experiences that took place during one of the NWA Legends events in Charlotte and after hearing what he went through, there's no doubt in my mind that he's probably one of the toughest men to ever walk the face of Planet Earth. We'd all like to send "Dr. Death", who was one of the best workers of the 1990s during his stint in All Japan, our best wishes at this time.
