Several readers have sent word that the official WWE website was advertising Melina as to taking part in the Divas Halloween Costume contest at Cyber Sunday later this month. WWE has pulled her name from the match preview as it now reads as follows:
"Featured in this year's contest will be Women's Champion Beth Phoenix, Divas Champion Michelle McCool, Brie Bella, Candice Michelle, Eve, Jillian, Katie Lea Burchill, Kelly Kelly, Layla, Lena Yada, Maria, Maryse, Natalya, Tiffany, Victoria and Mickie James."
Melina, who has been out of action since the June 23rd edition of Raw where she suffered a severe heel injury that required surgery, is expected to return in January. Apparently her being listed on the match preview for the Divas Halloween Costume was a typo.
