Pop star Pete Burns is set to receive damages for lip injections that he says left him "repulsive" and "suicidal".

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant is suing Dr Maurizio Viel, who carried out the procedures between 2000 and 2004, for a seven-figure sum.
Lawyers for the Harley Street surgeon have now "admitted liability" in a letter, Burns' lawyer, Harriet Jerman, told the High Court last week.
The value of the damages claim will be decided at a hearing in March 2009.
Burns' lip injections were said to have triggered side effects, including painful swelling and blisters so severe that he could not eat, drink or speak.
He also suffered from "granulomas", a collection of chronic inflammatory cells, his lawyers said in court.
Miss Jerram added that, since he was treated by Dr Viel, Burns had undergone "a very significant amount" of corrective treatment "at very significant expense".
Dr Viel's lawyers, in a letter on August 14 this year, admitted liability in relation to the administration of the injections.
Burns' lawyer said there remained an issue over whether the treatment was only "partially responsible" for the pop star's suffering.
She also told Mr Justice Foskett that the singer had been forced to sell his music back catalogue because he was unable to work, and will also be suing Dr Viel for financial losses.
