A Swiss chemist is so fed up with motorists asking him for parking meter change that he makes them sing for it.
Rene Jenni said he used to get scores of people walking into his pharmacy in Zurich and asking to change notes for coins every day to feed the meter outside.
But when he started to run out of change in his till he came up with the idea of making drivers perform to get their change.
He said: "I didn't want to be rude and just tell people to get lost so I thought up the idea of getting them to do something if they really wanted the money.
"It was a good move because many people are too embarrassed to start singing. But anyone who actually sings gets the coins for free.
"We had an opera singer in here the other day who sang a whole aria."
